Use of this Website

Mark Marengo and Mark Stephen are registered trading names of Mark Stephen Marengo International Limited registered in the UK since 1990 and in other countries worldwide including The Far East and America. Your use of this website does not give you any rights to use our trade marks.

This website is controlled by the above company and no part of it, nor any of the contents therein may be reproduced, distributed, or copied in any form for any commercial purpose without the express written permission of the Directors of the company.

Mark Marengo is committed to providing you with Terms and Conditions of sale which are easy to understand and which are fair to you. By placing an order with us you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions.

set out then you should not use this website . Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained in these terms & conditions.

Accuracy of Content

We make every effort to ensure that the description and the appearance of the goods is as accurate as possible , although variances of colour shown on different monitors are beyond our control.

Mark Marengo reserve the right to change information, prices and descriptions of our goods at any time without notice.

In the event that any pricing error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered we will contact you to advise the correct price, and whether you still wish to proceed with your order or cancel it . Mark Marengo are not under any obligation to fulfil any order that was advertised at an incorrect price.

Goods ordered by Internet/Mail Order from Mark Marengo are of the exact same quality standard as those sold in our London stores. However they may be of different designs and different offers may apply between the stores and the internet site. We do not guarantee to offer the same promotions in store or by internet at any given time.

At the present time we do not have the facility in our London stores for the ordering/or returns of Internet items , so please liase with our Internet sales team as mentioned below for all information concerning our website and online sales.

Prices

Prices shown are in UK £ Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. Customers from the EU may select to pay in Euros and those prices will also be inclusive of VAT.

For countries outside of the EU and Channel Islands all purchases are VAT free and this will be automatically calculated in the checkout procedure.

Delivery

We will endeavour to dispatch your goods within 3 working days ( subject to credit card clearance ) of the order being received providing we have them in stock .

Please note that during busy periods such as seasonal sale or Christmas delivery may take a little longer.

If for any reason the goods are not available for immediate dispatch we will advise you of the likely time scale and you may decide if to proceed with the order or part order.

You have the legal right to cancel your order up to 7 days providing the goods are not dispatched or in dispatch. If already dispatched please refer to our returns policy below.

MARK MARENGO believe we should offer the best deal to our customers also in respect of our shipping costs which we will keep to the absolute minimum possible .

Delivery charges are as follows :

UK £4.00 ( Please allow 3-5 days for delivery )

Europe & Channel Islands £ 6.00 ( Please allow 7 days for delivery )

Rest of World £ 12.00 ( Please allow 10-14 days for delivery )

Shipping for larger items eg suits or multiple items is by the courier Interlink Express. Shipping for smaller or single items is by Royal Mail.

If you have not received your order or any notification from the courier indicating that delivery has been attempted with a reasonable time after the above indications please contact us on

Please note that recipients outside of the EU will be responsible for any importation duties, clearance fees and other additional charges concerning customs.

The customer is also responsible to provide to their country customs any information

required to clear the goods.

Please note that in the event of any return for faulty or unsuitable that we are not liable to refund any duty paid as this is a specific contract between the purchaser and his own country Customs and Excise.

Returns & Replacements.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or of a different quality than stated then we will replace the damaged goods or refund the amount paid providing you notify us in writing within 7 days from the date the goods were delivered. In this event your return postage which must be by Recorded Delivery means will also be refunded.

Furthermore if the goods that you receive are the wrong size for you or not to your liking then we will replace or refund them providing they are returned in the exact condition that they were delivered and unworn.

Goods must be returned by Recorded Delivery post at your own cost and in the original packaging with the return date not exceeding 7 days from the date of delivery. Please ensure they are well wrapped up as no credit can be issued for items damaged in transit by inadequate packaging.

Please keep a copy of the posting receipt until the return is authorised and the credit issued.

Credit will be issued in the same way paid, i.e. refunded to the credit card used for payment.

If returning items that included a free of charge promotional item the free of charge item must also be returned. This does not apply to any faulty goods items returned .

We do not require your personal details to enter and review our website. However we do require certain personal information from you in order to process your order , inform you of any delays or problems and to send you special offers and promotions.

Your credit card details which are protected by the latest security technology blah & blah, Our agent for credit card processing is World Pay or whatever blah & blah ..

Mark Marengo will not supply your details to any third party for marketing purposes , but we may from time to time contact you for offers from our own company unless you expressly ask us not to do this .

Personal Tailoring Service

For your convenience you may register with us your sizing details which we recommend are taken as personal measurements by our managers and tailors when visiting one of our stores. Once on file we can alter the garments of your subsequent orders in a similar manner if required.

We will not divulge these details to anybody except in the context of offering our garment alteration service.

We cannot alter anything except we are sure that your measurements which we have on file are correct, and goods once altered cannot be returned except if faulty. You will therefore need to advise us if you change in size from that which was recorded for you.

If its not convenient for you to visit one of our stores to be measured you can provide your own measurements, but please note this is your responsibility to ensure they are correct.

Disputes

Mark Stephen Marengo International Limited will make every effort to resolve any problem that you may have with the goods supplied, to a satisfactory outcome.

In the unlikely event that there is a dispute in relation to the goods supplied that cannot be resolved that dispute or claim shall be governed by the jurisdiction of the English Courts of Law. If any term or condition above stated is found to be invalid in whole or in part then we undertake to abide by the law of the land in arriving at a solution to the dispute

Although we may sell to different countries it is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our website and services is legal within the laws of your own country .

We reserve the right to refuse to supply to any individual or country for whatever reason if we consider that we have reasonable reason to do so.
