Made To Measure

 

At MARK MARENGO the highest emphasis is placed on cut and quality, however we realise that our customers are not standardised and sometimes it is necessary for some adjustment to give you the perfect fit.

Minor alterations are offered in all of our stores for a small extra charge over the regular suit price and unlike many others all of our alterations are made by our in-house tailors.

 

If you are ordering online it is also possible to have your suit or shirt altered in various respects to give a personalised fit. Please consult the "personalised measurements" feature of the website for full details of this service. Initially you will need to visit one of our London stores to be properly measured, but thereafter

we can store your details and supply further suits online to the same personalised fiit. 

 

Additionally we offer two services namely MADE TO MEASURE and FULL BESPOKE, for any customer who is able to visit us in  London to discuss their exact requirements with our tailors.

 

MADE TO MEASURE SERVICE:  This service involves working with our basic suit block, but adjusting it in whichever way is required. This may mean a combination of alterations to your trousers in length, waist, taper, and to your jacket in sleeve and body length and stomach size.

The suit will be fully handmade in respect of seams (except some critical ones for strength) with hand stitched linings interlinings, buttonholes and buttons . This made to measure service for a hand made half canvas suit will be £ 1200. 

 

FULL BESPOKE SERVICE: At 31 Savile Row in reflection of the great historical tradition of this prestigious street, Mark Marengo will offer a fully bespoke tailoring service. Moreover, the customer will actually be able to view his suits being made on the premises, as its Mark's desire that his clients be more actively involved in the making process.

The difference with the full bespoke service is that the suit will be completely handmade and by that we mean everything , the only machine touching the suit will be an iron.
Every single customer measurement will be taken and the suit will be completely individual and tailored from the very beginning to your exact fit. Please expect to pay a very competitive £2500 for a fully canvas bespoke suit necessitating 70 hours to make.
 
Alongside suits and jackets, 31 Savile Row will also offer bespoke shirts, featuring completely hand-stitched buttonholes and armholes, and bespoke shoes, where the customer's foot lasts will be taken.
